SUCH a good, helpful little book. I bought it after a really bad breakup, feeling like I was spinning and not sure I could financially commit to therapy. I was so happy that I bought this little book. It made me feel less alone, a little less spinny, and gave me some hope and advice about how to take care of myself when it (at least then) felt like my world was ending. I loved the links she includes and now listen to ASMR videos daily. Thank you Annie!

I am so thankful I stumbled on this book! It’s been a rough week and have tried and done many of the listed items just on my own. A good cry, really deep gut cry has been the most helpful and we sometimes just don’t allow ourselves that luxury. Also, when possible, listing to the rain. It is so soothing.
